Chesea Capoeman de Vargas

Chelsea Capoeman de Vargas stepped into the role of the North Beach School District Native Education Coordinator on October 16th, 2023.

Chelsea is an enrolled Quinault Citizen of the Quinault Tribe and grew up in the village of Queets. She is the Daughter of Tribal Elder and Veteran, Felix Capoeman.

She is an Alutiiq-Sugpiaq Alaskan Native from her Mother’s side.

Her four children are Violette, Taiho, Satanta and Coren Capoeman.

What does a Native Education Coordinator do?  Oversees and protects the integrity, sustainability and growth of the Title VI Program.
