Volunteer

North Beach School District recognizes the valuable contribution made to the total school program through the volunteer assistance of parents and other citizens.  If you wish to be a volunteer or a volunteer coach, contact the school to see what volunteer opportunities they may have.

To help get the volunteer screening and application process started, below are the definitions of the different volunteers, and forms that you will need to fill out.  The school that you wish to volunteer in may have some additional forms that need to be filled out.

Volunteer = person assisting in classroom or school activities under the supervision of certificated staff (e.g. Classroom helper, starter, event coordinator, timer, scorer).

The screening and application process includes a criminal background check through the Washington State Patrol (WSP).  This check is done using the volunteers name and date of birth.  There is no fee involved in this background check.
