Child Find Developmental Screenings

The North Beach School District is responsible for locating, evaluating, and identifying all students with any suspected disability (including students who attend private schools) who live within the boundaries of the North Beach School District, and who are not currently receiving special education and related services. Any child with a disability, from birth through age 21, may be eligible. Children 3-5 years of age are screened through Child Find. Child Find screenings are offered several times per year. Please call the Special Services Department to make an appointment: 360-289-5835. Upcoming Child Find Screening Dates: September 29, 2025, Ocean Shores Elementary March 30, 2026, Pacific Beach Elementary
If your child is under the age of three, please contact South Sound Parent to Parent for information regarding the Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (EIST) program, 360-352-1126. Students that are Preschool age through 21 and enrolled in school, should contact their neighborhood school or the Special Services Department, 360-289-5835.
