COVID-19 Screening is Available Through North Beach School District

In collaboration with the state Department of Health, North Beach School District is participating in state-funded COVID-19 screening and testing that will help contain the virus, protect our communities, and keep students and teachers healthy and safe, whether they are remote or in-person.

We recommend screening anytime you:

  • travel outside of the county
  • have been in multiple public locations
  • feel you were or may have been exposed to COVID-19
  • were with family outside your household
  • you are experiencing symptoms similar to COVID-19

This testing protocol fits into our larger strategy to contain and control the virus. We have adapted our operational practices to allow for proper counter-measures and social distancing. Each precaution we take is an added layer of protection, and when used together, dramatically decreases the risk.

All staff, students and their household members are welcome to participate.  Students will need parental verbal consent.

Types of Testing:

  • Rapid antigen testing is available for any symptomatic individuals.
  • PCR (gold standard) mail-out testing is available through Curative lab.

To arrange testing, call your school office.  If you have questions on when or if you should be tested, the school can answer these questions.

Please do not eat, drink or smoke 30 minutes prior to your test.
