I grew up in a military family, settling in Tacoma
 
I went to Lakes High School. From there I attended Eastern Washington University to study Music Education, and then off to the University of Oregon to study Educational Leadership
 
I began teaching in 1999, and love watching students learn and perform
 
My interests are spending time with my family and my animals and my gardens
