Ms. Patty Duncan

Hello! I am a Kindergarten teacher with Ocean Shores Elementary.

Hi I am Patty Duncan, but my students call me Mrs. Duncan. I have been teaching Kindergarten at Ocean Shores Elementary for 4 years, and I can honestly say that I have my dream job! I enjoy teaching the littles so much that it fills my heart with joy.
 
Here's a little bit about me: I graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1979, and I graduated from Everett Community College in 1981 with an AA degree. From there, I attended various other higher education institutions until I graduated from St. Martin's University (college) with a BA in Elementary Education with minors in Reading and Family and Consumer Science (Home Economics). I have taught every grade level, GED classes, ran an alternative education program, and have taught just about every subject. My favorite though is teaching Kindergarten.
 
I can promise you that I will love each and every one of my students, that I will push them to try their best and make their brains strong, that I be honest and truthful, and that I will be kind and will teach my students to do the same.  
 
I love coffee and tea and chocolate, plus Chinese food is my favorite. I have a pet cat named Agnes, and I love to garden, crochet, sew, bake and make pottery.
