Ms. Kristin Hieronymus
Hello, I’m Kristin Hieronymus. I grew up in north Seattle and graduated from Shoreline High School in the year of our country’s bicentennial. My family built a cabin in Ocean Shores in the late 60s, I met my husband, Denny, here in the early 80s and have lived here since 1988.
I am in my 19th year as a paraeducator at OSE. I have had many positions here, from recess and lunchroom duty to teaching small reading groups, reading intervention groups and teaching computer lab. Currently, I assist in the two kindergarten classes and it is so much fun to see the world through the eyes of a five year old. I love their creative play and their capacity to learn everything from ABCs to sitting in a chair, taking turns, catching a bouncing ball in PE, and so many other new things!
Prior to working at Ocean Shores Elementary, I worked as a teller at the Bank of the Pacific for several years and in the travel industry in Seattle and New York for 18 years. I still love to travel!
I am so grateful that I live close to the ocean and only an hour from one of the most beautiful places on earth - Lake Quinault and the Rain Forest. I hope to share my love of nature and the importance of caring for our environment with all of our kids!
