Free and Reduced Meals
JUNE 18, 2020 UPDATE: The State of Washington has increased food benefits for families who qualify for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals. If you are already signed up and approved for F&R meals (and receive SNAP benefits), you do not need to do anything. If this is your situation, the P-EBT benefits – up to $399 per eligible child in each household – will automatically be deposited onto existing EBT cards in early July. This is a one-time payment.
If your student qualified for free or reduced meals last year, you still need to apply for the current year. If you do not apply before October 16, 2019, your status will revert to "paid" and your student will be charged the full price for breakfast/lunch.
Applications may be completed at any time throughout the school year. If your income or the number of people in your household changes, you may apply for a re-evaluation.
You may submit an online application through Family Access, or print out one of the following applications, fill it out, and return it to your school. Pre-printed applications are also available at each school and the district office.
